Born in 1952, telecommunications engineer since 1976, radio amateur since 1977, computer geek since 1980, linux user since 2000, full time thinker/tinkerer since 2012.

Member of SRAL and OH2ET. Also visible in qrz.com, hamqth.com, qrzcq.com, hamcall.net and aprs.fi. Holding Finnish General Class (Yleisluokka) licence (full-privilege, US Amateur Extra Licence equivalent, CEPT Class 1 equivalent, HAREC compliant).

This blog is mainly about amateur radio, with the emphasis on “amateur” rather than “radio”. I will write about thinks I’m interested, stuff I’ve made, applications I’ve tried.
